Outdoor exhibition and indoor exhibition for museums
Water is essential for life. No living thing on planet Earth can survive without it. It is a prerequisite for human health and well-being as well as for the conservation of the environment. Of the Earth’s water, only 2.5% is fresh water, but only a fraction of this is found in lakes, streams and wetlands.
Currently, we can offer two different exhibitions on the topic. These exhibitions tell the story about our rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, wetlands, glaciers, and springs wells. The fresh water that we rely on in our everyday lives.
The outdoor exhibition about fresh water - VALUABLE WATERS - includes 20 high quality prints (150x100 cm). Every print has informative text as well as interactive content in the form of sound or video. An education pack for schools and teachers is also included. So far, the outdoor exhibition has been to Umeå, Malmö, Lidköping, Nyköping, and Kalmar reaching more then 200 000 people. And the response has been overwhelming.
The indoor exhibition – FRESH WATER - A WORLD OF LIFE - is produced together with Regionmuseet in Kristianstad and has been displayed at museums in Kristianstad, Ystad and Gävle. It contains film, photography, interactive content, and an education pack for schools. It covers 150 square metres. You can read more about that exhibition here or see a film from the exhibition here.
